How to book your wedding

How to book your wedding

We would be delighted to hold your Wedding or Civil Partnership Ceremony at Kennaway House.

Here are some handy tips to go about booking your special day.

  • Choose your date:

Check our availability by email: mail@kennawayhouse.org.uk or call 01395 515551 to reserve the date for yourselves. We recommend that you don’t leave it too late as the popular dates go well in advance.

  • Viewing:

Appointments are held - please contact the office during opening hours or email: mail@kennawayhouse.org.uk to arrange a convenient day and time.

  • Make your provisional booking:

We will hold your provisional booking and will send our ceremony booking form and bank payment details by email. Your provisional booking will be held for 14 days to allow you to arrange your wedding day's other elements.

  • Registrar:

You must book the Registrar for your ceremony. The Registrars’ fees start from £475 and are not included within our packages. You must personally arrange with the Devon Registration Service (Exeter) after confirmation of Kennaway House’s availability by using this link:

    https://www.devon.gov.uk/registrationservice/guide/marriages

  • Confirm your booking:

To secure your booking the Ceremony Booking Form will be sent via email and a 20% non-refundable but transferable deposit will be required within 7 days of receipt of email.

The balance is due 1 month prior to your ceremony, or the full amount is due if the ceremony is booked less than 1 month in advance.

Payments are via bank transfer (BACS) and details will be supplied when a provisional booking is confirmed. Cheques are accepted.

  • After booking:

In the run-up to your ceremony, our consultant will be in touch to run through any questions you might have. In the final stage of your special day, we will need to update your details and confirm all arrangements including guest numbers, seating, catering and drinks - if required.

  • Your Big Day:

Our Wedding Consultant will be on hand for you throughout your ceremony. All will be taken care of by the Caterer and consultant for you to relax and enjoy!
